2023 : ADC Governorship Candidate Promises Quality Leadership In Kogi State

The Kogi State governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress ,ADC, Dello Bello-Williams has pledged quality leadership that will translate into good living standards for our people, if elected as the governor of the state.
He told Nigerian Trend during his recent visit to the state headquarters, Lokoja.
Bello-Williams said further that his aims is to give priority to people oriented projects by improving the economy, agriculture and health sectors of the state.
“The reason I want to become the Governor of Kogi state is to make sure that the life of our people is vastly improved.
“Our people need good competent leadership and they need somebody with vision and experience to take care of them properly and who is not corrupt. Corruption drains resources meant for the people. It brings disgrace to the state and the country.
“Our people are looking for someone who is credible, can help their lives. I’m contesting because I want to make sure people of Kogi state experience the dividends of democracy.
“ Ninety percent of our problems can be traced to corruption, it starts from disregard for due process, law and order. Disobedience to law and order stalls development and progress. If people follow due process and obey the law most of our problems will be solved including corruption,” he said.
On his chances of winning the election amidst political gladiators in the state like the ruling party, APC, and the PDP. He expressed optimism of winning the election, stressing that Kogi people are tired of recycled leadership that has not made much difference in the past.
“I’m very confident that I will win the governorship race because Kogi people are looking for the right person to lead them and I’m sure I am that person.
“I am not afraid of the other candidates because I know they have been tested and have failed woefully.,” he said.
