According to him, the present House of Representatives member, TJ Yussuf, Sunday Karimi, Assembly speaker, mathew kolawole occupied major positions in the state, “they should rather deploy their political intellect to unite the zone and remain kingmakers instead of contesting with their son.
Oyeyemi stated this saying
“If one is consulted by kogi west stakeholders ,on whether likes of TJ Yussuf, speaker kolawole and Karimi should run or not for the Reps, Senatorial seat in 2023, my candid advice will be that they should use their abundant Almighty God’s endowment to unite the people , and unite kogi west, and backed the NNPP candidate, Muhammed Abubakar Bukky from Lokoja ”
Tj Yussuf of PDP and Sunday Karimi of APC , If agree to concede to Lokoja – Koton-Karfe, so doing, Oyeyemi said, would have unites the kogi west more.
