2023 : Kogi APC Governorship Candidate, An Asset For Good Governance — Hon. Makudi Bature

The chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lokoja local government area, Hon. Maikudi Bature has urged the people of kogi State to vote massively for the governorship candidate of the APC, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the 2023 elections, stating that he is an asset for good governance.
He added that Ododo’s success in managing the affairs of his former office as Auditor-General in the state has increased his level of competence and diversity.
Bature stated that he has no doubt that with a combination of experience of Ahmed Usman Ododo and Joel Salisu Oyibo as former Auditor-General and NUT Chairman respectively, would carry out a positive turn around in the governance of the Confluence state .
He further said Lokoja residents should cast their votes massively for Ododo because not voting for him means losing the asset that is in him which he has exemplified through his pragmatism in public office held, among others.
He said: “I’m particularly happy because the governorship candidate of APC in Kogi State has done creditably well, looking at the level of competence that he has shown in managing his previous office”.
“I was equally overwhelmed by the calibre of people that are giving him support from all walks of life among whom is our leader and father of Kogi people, Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello and other leaders from different local government areas and some notable people from our home state like the former Honourable Minister of states, Hajiya Ramatu Aliyu Tijani.
“Going by what the popularity and support cutting across the three senatorial districts, I’m very sure that he’s going to deliver because with the level of the competencies he has shown and acquired over time through various educational attainment and having put those experiences into practice by working hard, I have no doubt that he will perform creditably in the administration of the state and the only thing left for the good people of Kogi State is to vote massively for him in the upcoming governorship election.
“He has also promised in his manifesto that he’s going to make kogi State proud, I am convinced that with his link he will attract direct foreign investments into the state which will provide employment to the teeming unemployed youths in the State.
“ I can beat my chest that with the combination of the innovative and wide experience in both leadership and public service, Ododo has put himself in a higher pedestal over and above other governorship candidates in Kogi State .
“In the same vein, being a reputable Accountant with complementary disciplines, he is eminently qualified to take Kogi State to greater heights.
“So, I have no doubt in my mind that with the general support of people of Kogi State, the ruling party will come victorious”.
“A combination of all these with the level of education he has attained, almost versatile coupled with his pragmatism will leave no one in doubt that he is going to do greatly.”
Bature added: “And, I urge the good people of Lokoja-Kogi(KK) to vote massively for Ododo because not voting for him means losing the asset that is in him which he has exemplified in all ramifications.”
