The Secretary of Presidential Campaign Committee, Media and Publicity Committee, Michael Onimisi has assured the presidential candidate of All People’s Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of overwhelming victory in kogi state.
The Secretary described Asiwaju Tinubu as the best man for the job, having toiled and sacrificed to ensure civilian rule, which the nation and its teeming people are witnessing today.
Speaking with Nigerian Trend, he said the coming presidential election will be won with landslide victory considering his experience, capacity, and investment in the growth of Nigeria’s democracy.
According to him, “The coming presidential election will be overwhelming and will vindicates the position of the APC Northern Governors that power should shift to the Southern part of the country in the interest of equity, justice, and unity.
“The Jagaban has remained a colossus in the Nigerian political landscape since the military era where he led the civilians to push for a return to civilian rule and also played a key role in the emergence of the APC which eventually ended the rule of the PDP.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory would represents the confidence of the party that he has all it takes to lead the APC into a new cherished and loved Nigeria.
While assuring him of support and collaboration for the battle ahead, Onimisi said with the composition of experienced politicians assembled in kogi by his leaders in kogi state, the Director-General, PCC, and current Chief of staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulraheem Asuku and Director, PCC, and Commissioner of Information, Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo, kogi is 100% sure for Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, he boasted.
