Lokoja International Market Traders Association Bestows An Outstanding Leader Award On Consultant, Comrade Adams Jimoh Babangida

The consultant of Lokoja International Market, Comrade Adams Jimoh Babangida, has bagged an ‘Outstanding best Market Leader and Administrator of the Year for Inclusive Leadership and International Market Coordination ’ in the 2025 edition annual celebration of its Lokoja International Market Traders Association.
At the yearly celebration of it’s anniversary on Monday , The International market traders Association bestowed an award of excellence on Comrade Adams Babangida, the reknwon Consultant of Lokoja International Market considering his pedigree
and approach to his style of leadership by bringing about the growth and development Of Lokoja International Market In Kogi state.
The chairman of the Lokoja International Traders Association, Mallam Yunusa Sani, stated that the award was given to the consultant , comrade Adams Babangida in recognition of his immense contributions, and leadership qualities as a respected administrator, who has not only impacted on the traders and business men and women in the market.
He said Comrade Adams Babangida has clearly shown his kind hearts and generosity, adding that he had used his position to redefine leadership by promoting peace and unity within the market in Lokoja township, irrespective of political and social backgrounds.
The chairman of the traders association further noted that Comrade Adams Babangida’s sterling performances as the reknwon consultant, in which he has distinguished himself through exemplary inclusiveness in leadership, as well as his result-oriented, transformation turn-around of Lokoja International Market in Kogi state is highly appreciated.
Another leader of the market, Alhaji Isa Bauchi, the Hausa Leader in the market, commended Comrade Adams Babangida saying “In the last few years that the consultant of International Market assumed Office, he has distinguished himself through exemplary leadership and turnaround the market from a very rowdy and noisy market to a very peaceful and secured international market.
According to him, “We, the Executive members of the International market Traders Association celebrates and rejoice with comrade Adams Babangida on his well deserved award bestowed on him by this our noble Association he said.
Continuing, the Alhaji Isa Bauchi stated that they have watched with keen interest the consultant leadership style within the market and we found him consistent and result-driven initiatives in the areas of coordination and forestalling peace in the environment.
While congratulating the consultant on his outstanding performance within the period in office, the Executive members of Lokoja International Market Traders Association have to honour the consultant by confering an award of excellence on him.
The Executive members of the market Traders Association present at the colourful occasion were the Vice Chairman, Yakubu Sumaila Danasabe, Sarkin Kasuwa, Alhaji Musa Bawa, Galadiman of International market of Lokoja, Mallam Ali Zaki and Hausa Leader of Lokoja International Market, Alhaji Isa Bauchi.
