Abba, Son of Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar Joins Ruling party, APC

The Son Of the Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Abba Atiku Abubakar has Joined The All Progressives Congress, APC to support President Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Bid .
The colourful event took place today, Thursday, 15th January, 2026 in Abuja when the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin received him into the ruling party.
Alhaji Abba Atiku Abubakar said he has decided to pitch tent because of the leadership qualities and landmark Achievements of the President since assumption of office.
He therefore called on other members of the opposition parties in the country to forget about sentiments and support the present president of the federal Republic of Nigeria, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
When asked if his father won’t be hurted by his actions, he said “everybody has his or her own opinion about politics, I believe in the government that is doing well, and solving problems as expected. “President Tinubu is making frantic efforts to fist this country and he should be given the opportunity to do it”, he stressed.
