Agbaja Agog As KGHA Speaker, Rep Member, Hon. Aguye Bags Chieftaincy Titles

The Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, and Member federal House of Representatives, Lokoja-Kogi, Hon. Suleman Danladi Aguye have been conferred with chieftaincy titles of Madaki of Agbaja and Ma’aji of Agbaja respectively, by HRM, Chief Abubakar Isa Adoga, Maasi Of Agbaja during the celebration of his elevation to second class status at the weekend.
The epoch making occasion took place at the palace of Maasi Of Agbaja on Saturday.
Dignitaries across the state who graced the occasion include members of the Kogi state House of Assembly, cabinet members of Governor Yahaya Bello, National Assembly members, Lokoja APC Chairman, Maikudi Bature and other party chieftains, religious and traditional rulers, among others.
Speaking during the installation, the newly conferred Madaki of Agbaja, Rt. Hon. Speaker, Aliyu Umar Aliyu thanked the mornach for the recognition and honour, describing Maasi of Agbaja as good ambassador of oworo land.
He equally congratulated the Monarch for the peace in the town and its environs and his support to the government, assuring that the state government will not rest on its oars at ensuring more development in Agbaja, and oworo communities in general.
HRM, Chief Abubakar Isa Adoga, Maasi Of Agbaja affirmed that the confirement of the chieftaincy titles was based on credibility and performance towards the development of the town and people, emphasising that it was a honour well deserved.
In an interview, the new Ma’aji of Agbaja, who is a member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Suleman Danladi Aguye thanked the monarch and other chiefs for the recognition, saying that the installation will spur him to do more towards the development of Agbaja land.
He thanked Almighty Allah for the amazing grace and the celebration of his elevation to second class status.
Hon. Aguye promised that himself and the speaker will install 15 solar street lights in Agbaja township, which he said will improve the electricity system.
