AJAOKUTA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: THE GOOD REPRESENTATION THAT OUR PEOPLE EVER YEARNED FOR IS BEING PROVIDED BY SANNI EGIDI ABDULRAHEEM

For the first time in the history of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, the voice of the mandate of the people is being heard loud and clear on the floor of the Green Chamber, recording greatness for the downtrodden.

In less that 100 days of his Representation in the lower chamber at the 10th National Assembly, Representative SANNI EGIDI ABDULRAHEEM has been able to hit the ground running, providing genuine and classic representation in vital areas that are mostly needed by his people.

FIRST; Representative SEA, on the floor of the National Assembly has raised a motion and called on the attention of the Federal Government to the completion of Ajaokuta Steel Company limited, a company that is capable of employing hundreds of thousands of our unemployed youths when revitalized. The National Assembly has taken note of it and has refered the matter to a special committee to come out with a concrete blueprint to assist the House on further quick action.

SECONDLY; Representative SEA has raised a motion of urgent importance to the poor state of the roads network in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, particularly the need for a flyover to be constructed in the flood ravaged all important GANAJA ROAD, a Federal carriage road in Ajaokuta LGA. Due to the importance of the Ganaja road that links the northern part of the country to the south, the House, immediately, refered the motion to a special committee to come out with urgent way forward.

THIRDLY; Representative SEA has raised a motion on the floor of the House on the setting aside of 5% derivation accruing from the Nation’s Electricity generation Agencies to help develop the host communities. Electricity Act 2023 (section 95(2)(c)). Infact, the bill to this effect has been passed and assented to by President BOLA AHMED TINUBU. Congratulations in advance to all Electricity Generation Host Communities in Nigeria.

FOURTHLY; Representative SEA has been a functional House of Rep Member currently serving as the Standing House Committee Vice Chairman on Monitoring and Evaluation of all House Committees. He has also been engaged a serious assignment as the Adhoc House Committee Chairman to investigate the gruesome murder in Enugu State and also an Adhoc committee member set up to investigate the delay in the construction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano express road.

FIFTHLY; Representative SEA has inaugurated a High-Powered NEEDS ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency. The mandate of this committee is to draw out a ROADMAP of the needs of every communities in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency as a guide to aid the Rep Member deliver the needed physical projects and human development for his constituents and his constituency in the next four years by God’s grace. This committee, in a couple of weeks from now, will make this blueprint document available for action.

INDEED, BASED ON HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES, REPRESENTATIVE SEA HAS STARTED DOING IT DIFFERENTLY FROM BUSINESS AS USUAL. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GOOD PEOPLE OF AJAOKUTA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.
