Alhaji Jibrin Momoh Is A Sellable, Acceptable Candidate – Hon. Level Pumpy
By:Abubakar S. H
The former senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello, and Youth leader in kogi state, Level Pumpy has said Alhaji Jibrin Momoh is ready to continue from where his Boss, Gov. Bello stopped.
According to the former SSA, Alhaji Momoh’s experience in politics will work in his favour as he will “hit the ground running” if he eventually emerges as APC candidate.
He further stated that Alhaji Momoh knows what the people want and where to continue from after Governor Yahaya Bello , as we can all see the appreciable level of development going on around Kogi State, which has to be sustained by the next governor .”
He praised Gov. Bello efforts at governance, stating that “he has raised the bar of governance in this state, assuring that he will serve as a benchmark for optimal performance, if elected.
“What we need by January 2024 is a governor that will hit the ground running after swearing in not a greenhorn who will spend one year studying files and trying to learn the ropes.
According to level pumpy, “Experience counts and don’t also forget that we have opposition to face and we must not play into their hands.”
Speaking on the aspirations of Alh. Jibrin Momoh , he said: “The only answer to this dire situation is to field a sellable, acceptable, experienced and pragmatic candidate who has all it takes to face the opposition parties at the general elections.
To achieve this we must get it right from our own internal election which is our party’s primaries and the vast exposure of Alh. Momoh as a grassroot politician has placed him far and above his co-contestants but that does not mean they are not an important factor in this kogi State project.
I can vividly remember what Alhaji Jibrin Momoh once told me, He said “We will ensure all necessary mechanisms of crisis control are put in place before we go for the primaries and I can assure you that rather than lose members of our party to any post primary election crisis, my candidature will further unite the party, bring in new members and further assuage the feelings of other aggrieved members.”
