The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship and councillorship primary in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi is presently taking place at ward collation centres Accross the ten wards under a peaceful and orderly atmosphere.
When our reporter spoke with the chairman of the party in Lokoja local government area, Alhaji Maikudi Bature, said the primary witnessed a large gathering of party supporters holding their membership cards ready to vote for the aspirant of their choice.
He further stated that the electoral body were on ground to supervise the election saying that the process has been orderly and peaceful.
Ñigerian Trend Online newspaper saw the electoral officers of SIEC supervising the electoral process while each Councilloship aspirants queueing up in front of their posters signifying their votes and acceptance of the respective aspirants.
Meanwhile, the result of the primary in Lokoja local government area is expected to be announced later by the APC Local Government electoral body at the Local Government secretariat, Lokoja.
