APC’s Stakeholders Regroup For 2023 Governorship Battle In Kogi

TOP national and state stakeholders of the All Progressive’s Congress, (APC) from kogi state have met under a closed-door meeting in Abuja to discuss the political direction to ensure the emergence of Hon. Ahmed Usman Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi state.

The meeting which was initiated by prominent leader in kogi state, and member, House of Representatives, Hon. Sunday James Abiodun Faleke and other stakeholders took far-reaching decisions to make sure that the APC retained the state in the coming governorship election.

At the end of the meeting which lasted for 5 hours, they resolved to rally round support for the APC governorship candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo who is ready to treat all tribes in the state equally, fairly and vow to ensure that the people of the state continue to enjoy peace and unity in the state.

APC leader in Bassa local government area, Dr. Tim Nda Diche also contributed, said, “We have resolve to all brace up to this challenges because no one gets to the midst of the river and still complains of cold, so the ruling party, APC is more committed to the progress and unity in the state and we are all going for Ahmed Usman Ododo,” he added.

In his own contribution, the former council chairman in lokoja local Government area, Alhaji Mabo Kassim said the APC in the state have completed all arrangement to retain the governorship seat in kogi state through a fair and credible elections and the signs are very clear.

In his own words, Isa Daniel (Proff.)
said the people of Kogi state will vote for APC and Ahmed Usman Ododo base on his credibility and competence, and was not base on tribal sentiments, he said.
