Atiku’s Spokesperson, Sen. Dino Melaye loses local government To Sen. Smart Adeyemi.

Senator Smart Adeyemi, representing Kogi West senatorial district has defeated Sen. Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ijumu local government.
Both candidates are from same local government, Ijumu.
While Sen. Adeyemi is an indigene of Iyara in Ijumu, Dino Melaye is from Aiyetoro-Gbedde in same Ijumu. The final result for the local government was announced on Sunday.
Sen. Adeyemi’s APC scored
11,237 votes while Sen. Melaye’s PDP polled 4, 503
votes in the local government, according to the electoral commission, INEC.
