Chief Paul Oludoyi Defects To APC, Assure Victory For Governorship Candidate

The former Chairman of Local government pension Board in kogi state and Ex-Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mopamuro lga, Chief Paul Oludoyi has defected with thousands of supporters.

Similarly, Mrs Grace Ojo, a Mopa born politician and a close associate to the former Deputy Governor of Kogi state, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi also followed, Mrs Ojo said that the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has all it takes to lead Kogi state to a great hight, stressing that the unprecedented achievements of Governor Yahaha Bello would fast track the victory of the party while calling on the people of Okun Nation to join the moving train coasting to victory.

Continuing, Chief Paul Oludoyi while speaking to Nigerian Trend Wednesday, said that the decision to join the APC with his supporters was to work for the victory of APC governorship candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Chief Oludoyi said that Ododo “has the potential to pilot the affairs of the people of Kogi at all levels.

“It is on that note and for the interest of the good people of Mopa-Amuro that I accept to work and mobilize for the victory of the APC Candidate in the state.

“I will go back to my unit, ward and my local governments and mobilise our supporters to work assiduously to ensure that Ododo emerge as the next governor of Kogi state”.

In her own view, Mrs Grace Ojo, said that she also defected with the party leader, Chief Oludoyi to join Ododo in actualising the victory of APC in the state.

“I want to proudly tell you that we are giving 100 per cent of our support for the victory of Ododo/Joel come November 11,” she said.

She described Ododo as
a competent hand that would consolidate on the achievements of Gov. Yahaya Bello and transformed the fortunes of kogi and they needed to team up with him.

APC State Chairman, Abdullahi Dollar said they were home in APC and would enjoy all privileges with other members.

The state chairman assured them that the party would not take their coming to the APC for granted, pointing out that “every single person is important to the party.

“I assure you that we will work together so that kogi will be better at the end of the day because of the quality material we have as governorship candidate.
