Christmas: Gov. Ododo pays early salary, pension for Kogi workers

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has begun the early payment of salaries and pensions to all civil servants and pensioners in the state.
The payments, starts from today, 14th December 2024, reflects the Governor’s commitment to ensuring financial ease for workers during this Christmas season.
Under the leadership of Governor Ododo, Kogi State was among the first to implement the N72,500 minimum wage, a landmark policy benefiting the workforce and pensioners in the state.
We learnt that the Governor ordered the Accountant General of Kogi state for early disbursement this December aligns with his dedication to fostering inclusivity and enabling all civil servants and pensioners in kogi state to prepare and celebrate the Christmas with ease.
