Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Chairs 2024 OSU National Convention, Pledge Students Support Programme

The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu and Chairman of the 2024 Oworo Students’ Union National Convention commended the leadership of the body for the numerous programmes aimed at improving the Oworo Students and the Oworo Community at large.
In a statement issued by the SSA on Media and Publicity to the Executive Chairman, Lokoja Local Government Area, Illiyasu Zakari stated that a one time Financial Secretary of the Oworo Students’ Union National charged the Students to continue to improve and find ways to be useful to the Community. He pledged to initiate a personal support programme for the Oworo Students starting from 2025.
The Council Boss who also represented the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Aliyu Umar Yusuf and Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye presents ₦100,000 each as a support fund to 30 students on behalf of the Speaker.
Highlights of the event which took place in Otube Karara was presentation of gifts to different categories of winners such as Spelling Competition, Oworo Language Speaking etc
