The Ododo Support Organisation (OSO) has Congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello (CON), on his most-deserved and timely conferment with the iconic National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
In a press release, the Director, Media & Publicity of the organisation, Mr Olurotimi Plilip Odofin quoted the Director General of OSO, Engr. A. S. Adaira in the extolling of the good virtues of the Governor, confers on him as being a Role model and a Champion for the teeming Nigeria Youths and Women. In quote: “Your Excellency, the honour is most-deserving of you and timely, as in both your private and public commitments, you have continued to demonstrate uncommon passion, zeal and patriotism required for the actualisation of the Nigerian Project”.
He posited that the uncommon commitment of the Governor to the Nigerian Project has manifested in the encouragement of unity in diversity, youth consciousness and involvement in governance, moral revival and in the fiscal and physical development of Kogi State in particular and Nigeria in general.
He opined that the Executive Governor of a State such as Kogi, with virtually all the multidimensional characters of the Nigerian Federation, demonstrated an unqualified capacity in entrenching cohesive and inclusive governance through a model of developmental agendas encapsulated in the New Direction Blueprint of his administration. He argued that many lovers of Democracy and observers hold this truth as self-evident as shown in the Governor’s commitment to youth inclusiveness in governance, in religious and cultural tolerance, gender balancing in his appointments, in monetary and fiscal policy, health management, agricultural revolution, and the overall repositioning of the education sector in the state, and lots more.
Engr. Adaira urged the Governor to continue being the shining example of youthful drive and unwavering vigour in governance, as his relentless efforts in this regard has translated to the continued youths involvement in leadership at both the state and the federal level.
Once again, Your Excellency, we congratulate you for this most deserving iconic National Honour, even as we expect many more awards to come your way in the days and years ahead – In shaa Allah.
