Conduct of Guber Primaries In Kogi :Massive turnout of Members in Gov. Bello’s town, Okene, Other LGAs.

Agassa, Okene, the hometown of the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the Governorship aspirant of All Progressives Party, APC, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, witnessed a large turnout of voters for the Governorship Primaries Election.
Nigerian Trend who went around some of the wards confirmed that eligible members of the party, who are financial members voted,while they were seen in queues to perform their civic duty.
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello commended members of the All Progressives Congress in the state for their large turnout and orderly conduct in the ongoing party gubernatorial Primary elections across the 239 wards of the state.
“You can see the massive turnout of party members in this ward. These are financial members with an up-to-date financial commitment to our party in line with Article 9.3 (i) and (ii) of the APC Constitution.
“From the reports I received so far, the turnout is good all over the 239 wards in the 21 local government areas of the state.
At Adavi, Okehi, Ogori-Magongo, all within the Ebiraland, the exercise was peaceful at the time when our correspondent visited.
Security personnel attached to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Police and the Department of Security Services were on ground to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
At Lokoja and kogi(kk) local government areas of the State, the turnout was very massive and voters conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
The Council Chairman of Lokoja Local government area, Hon. Mohammed Danasebe Muhammed was on ground to monitor the exercise, he therefore commended the voters for conducting themselves in an orderly manner.
He further said that the exercise had been peaceful so far with reports received across the length and breadth of the State.
