Day 1 Strike Action: Total Compliance In Kogi As Federal, State Agencies Shut Down

There is total compliance in kogi state as Organized Labour paralyzed activities to ensure enforcement of the nationwide strike.
Nigerian Trend Online Newspaper who went round to ascertained the situation said Labour enforcement team went to state secretariat in lokoja to chase out the few workers that showed up at various offices.
We also gathered reports that the team went to other ministries located at the township to chased them out before locking the gate.
The NLC Chairman, Kogi State, Comrade Gabriel Amari had earlier told newsmen that labour leaders in the state are ready to comply with the directive from the National secretariat of NLC.
Amari said that both federal and state government agencies in the state were under lock and keys, he therefore advised workers to stay at home to ensure the success of the strike to enable the government yield to Labour’s demands.
