Defining Senator Smart Adeyemi leadership doctrine

MY encounter with Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi over the years, clearly indicates that he is an amazingly simple man. Guided by sound ethical principles, with deep respect for people, processes, and rules.
Though averse to the “undue complexities of politics”, he is nonetheless passionate about good governance as the “bedrock of societal orderliness and oxygen for good, sustainable environment”.
Sen. Smart Adeyemi is passionate about credible leaders and believes his National Leader and President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR, has what is required to deal decisively with bad governance in Nigeria, especially corruption.
Many politicians in kogi state talked passionately about Sen.Smart Adeyemi “unblemished leadership qualities, clear vision on the right direction for society and extraordinary courage to challenged the Kogi APC governorship primary election in court, the election he described as kangaroo election that was not properly conducted. He has also proceeded to court of Appeal.
Truly, Sen. Smart Adeyemi as his name implies, is intellectually smart. His core belief that “… to succeed in both in civil service and public service, one must have acquired a certain level of experience and wisdom to lead the society, and be willing to damn all consequences to change things for the better” speaks to a character element that is almost totally absent in our public service space.
Sen. Smart Adeyemi who served as three term senator came to sustained the legislation at the National Assembly with his prestigeous appointment as the former chairman, committee on FCT.
While in the Senate, he fought against massive systemic corruption and a generally rotten system of legislation by consistently kicking against corrupt.
It is well-known that Sen. Smart Adeyemi played a leading role in the 2023 general elections which saw the emergence of President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and His decision to invest his leadership endowments at his home front is no doubt impacting on his people of kogi west as a good governance model. His intellectual and character strengths are delivering huge advantages for his people.
Sen. Adeyemi’s credentials aggregate a leadership doctrine fit for a better future for a discerning people of kogi west.
In many ways, Sen. Smart Adeyemi represents the reality of good leadership in kogi and Nigeria. Indeed, Kogi West is blessed with Sen.Smart Adeyemi.
