Deputy Rector FPI, Engr. Sunday Apeh Inducted As Fellow Institute of Corporate Administration.
The Deputy Rector, Federal Polytechnic Idah, Engr. Sunday Apeh, has been inducted into the Fellowship of the Institute of Corporate Administration.
Engr. Apeh was inducted into the highest level of the institute at a well attended 2023 second quarter Management Conference of the Institute held at Ayonete Hotel, Lokoja.
The Institute called on the Deputy Rector to sustain his administrative sagacity which he has exhibited in the discharge of his managerial assignment that has made him a unique brand.
According to the Institute, Engr Apeh has distinguished himself in administration, praised him for churning out managerial and executive strategies that has made him an envy by the Institute.
Samuel Bassey, of Public Affairs Institute of ICDA showed glowing tributes on the Deputy Rector, urged the Deputy Rector to sustain the feat he has made in the discharge of his administrative as well as management of men and resources.
According to Mr. Bassey, the Institute is desirous of providing key solutions to individuals through training and public lectures, said having watched with admiration the contributions of the Deputy Rector, admitted him into the Fellowship of the Institute, urged other managers to emulate his strategies with the view to making the society a better place.
Speaking on his induction, Engr. Sunday Apeh described the induction into the Institute’s Fellowship as an encouragement, promised to do more and live up to the responsibilities bestowed on him as a Fellow.
The Deputy Rector described the Theme of the 2023 Conference as apt in the present circumstances, urged for resilience and patience on the path of leaders and followers, assured that the present uncertainty faced by Nigerians would soon be a thing of the past
He urged Leaders at all levels to get rid of the box, put themselves in the shoes of their followers, stay focused and carry their followers along in decision making, assured of light at the end of the tunnel from the uncertainty faced by Nigerians.
Earlier, the Guest Speaker, Barr. Harriman Woome, who made a presentation on the theme of the Conference: Management and Executive Strategies for Managing Uncertainties, said the time by Managers, individuals and organizations to take decision of risk in uncertain times cannot be overemphasized.
He pointed out that individuals, organizations and government live in time of uncertainty, advocated excellence, and using relevant competency as ability to manage challenges as the best way out of uncertainty by Managers.
The guest speaker urged for mindfulness, need for managers to be grounded, remain ruthlessly constant, communicate effectively with people they manage, be forward thinking and build resilience as strategies to manage uncertainties.
