EASTER CELEBRATION IN LOKOJA, State Headquarters of Kogi; Supermarkets and shops Are Close over Easter Celebration

As Christians in the state headquarters of Kogi state, Lokoja celebrates this year Easter festival, Nigerian Trend online newspaper went round to confirmed that several major wholesalers and retailers are closed durng the holiday, including the popular supermarket stores in town.
We learnt that those who want to purchase clothings or home goods will also have to wait till after today, Sunday except they visit the local area at the traditional street in Cantonment, Karaworo or Old-Market in Lokoja.
Most major restaurants and Eatery shops owned by Christians especially along Nataco, Phase 11, Lokongoma, Zone 8 were open on Easter Sunday, but not a full day, hours can vary depending on the location.
Financial services
Most banks are closed today, been on Easter Sunday, although there are alternative bank services like Point Of Service ‘POS’ which will make it easy for money transactionss, though bank online services will still be available.
