Elder Adebayo Olugboye Buries Wife Amid Tears, Eulogies

Thousands of members of the Christians community in Lokoja and okunland in Kogi west senatorial district, Kogi state on Saturday, trooped into the home of Elder Adebayo Olugboye for the burial of his dear lovely wife
The wife of Elder Adebayo Olugboye, Deaconess Eunice Olugboye died on September , 2024 at the age of 56.
As at 22nd November, 2024 on Friday, wake keep took place at his residence behind police headquarters, Lokoja were dignitaries and friends of Elder Adegboye gathered to celebrate the exit of an Amazon.
The next day at about 10am, the remains of late Deaconess Eunice Adegboye was buried at Adankolo Christians cementary, Lokoja
At same day, funeral and thanksgiving service took place at the Christ Power Assembly International, Ali Close, Lokoja, were many symphatizers were seated , everybody at the venue of the service wore a mournful look. Some were sighted lamenting the great loss.
In his remarks, the husband, Mr. Olugboye thanked almighty God for his grace, saying he got married to late Mrs Deaconess Eunice Olugboye on 25th November, 2000 and they are blessed with a daughter, Miss Amazing Omolayo Olugboye.
He also described his late wife as an easy going person, compassionate, jovial,devoted wife, exceptionally effective in dealing with people of all types, accessible and prayerful.
He said “ his late wife will be fondly remembered all of us in the family saying Deaconess Eunice Olugboye was an active member of Christ Power Assembly International church, an ordained Deaconess and woman leader since November, 2021 till her death, she was an active member of Egbe Ayo in church.
During the Church service, Pastor of CPAI stressed “I have this question always in my mind. What is life all about. Yesterday night, we sang a hymn said ‘Fading away of the sun in the morning’, and I came to a conclusion that life is not the one million years that we lived, but even if we spend an hour, let the hour be impactful. She has live a fulfilled life”.
He lamented “Here lies the death of our wife, Everyone has come to celebrate her, it means even the short period that she lived, she lived an impactful life.
