As the year draws to a fruitful end, Evangelical Cornerstone Church along Ibaji quarter in Lokoja has organised an annual thanksgiving service to thank God for His mighty blessings.
The service which took place on Sunday and presided by pastor Kingsley Charles said the annual thanksgiving service was a special day of rejoiciinng, expressing profuse gratitude to the Lord for His blessings throughout this year 2024.
He said the ways to express yourself to God during thanksgiving was through your innermost heart., worship and praise Him profusely and ecstatically from your spirit.
He further stressed that you should celebrate God with your testimony and thanksgiving by testifying what you have done in your life and praising him at every end of the year would give you the foundation of life and increase your faith in christ, he said.
In his contribution, One of the elder of the church and committee annual chairman, Alfred Usman noted that it is good to worship and celebrate God with our offerings because He’s God, it’s a testimony of your faith in Him.
“Give the Lord a special thanksgiving offering and project yourself into the greater future he planned for you”.
Alfred Usman further thanked the church members, Youth, women and elders of the church for their unity and cooperation throughout the year 2024, and praised God for all he did in our lives, acknowledge and appreciate His grace.
