Ex-Governor Yahaya Bello Appears Physically In Gegu-Beki For Burial Rites/Fidau Prayers, Contrary To Rumours Of Hiding In Kogi Govt House

Despite the prevalence of anti-government rumors in kogi state,that the immediate past Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has gone into hiding to avoid arrest by EFCC, Bello was seen at a public gathering at Gegu-Beki, Kogi local government.
With a recent finding by Nigerian Trend Online Newspaper, we learnt that ex-Governor Yahaya Bello was physically seen at the burial of the late father of Honourable Commissioner of solid minerals, Engr. Bashir Gegu at Gegu Beki.
But with the appearance or re-appearance of the former Governor, Yahaya Bello in Gegu, it is crystal clear that ex-Governor Bello was not hiding anywhere, thereby considered as rumors and misinformation by the opposition in the state.
In addition, the chief press secretary to the speaker, Mohammed Yabagi on Thursday, confirmed that the burial in Gegu-Beki, which took place was attended by the State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu, the immediate past Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Faolashade Arike Ayoade, members of the State House of Assembly, Commissioners and others.
According to the CPS, to the Speaker, the Hon. Speaker, Umar Yussuf Aliyu prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased and prayed for family to bear the irreparable loss.
