Former PDP leaders In Kogi West intensify strategy for Ahmed Usman Ododo

Former Leaders of the People’s Democratic Party, in kogi western senatorial District, have continued to intensify their strategy for the victory of the Governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
They also pointed out that Governor Yahaya Bello’s handling of all the political situations in the state has been effective and assuring that they would deliver Kogi West For APC.
The leaders met recently in one of the leaders residence in Ijumu, to deepen their strategy for Ododo’s governorship candidature.
Speaking on behalf of the leaders after their meeting, Hon. Phillips Orebiyi said, “Despite the antics of the opposition in the state, Governor Yahaya Bello has been running an all-inclusive government and has also impacted positively on the well being of the people in kogi west.
He stressed further that from the successes of Governor Yahaya Bello in kogi State, his ability to establish Kogi State University In Kabba and ensuring that the institution is approved, saying it is a clear indication that the governorship candidate of APC, Ahmed Usman Ododo would consolidate on the achievements of Gov. Yahaya Bello and take Kogi State to a greater height.
He added that the Governor’s “achievements, developments strides and peaceful nature are obvious”.
Another former PDP stakeholder, who also Dumps the party for APC, Eric Fiki explained that “Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo possesses the leadership skills to take Kogi state to an enviable height and boost unity of the state following his antecedents.
He called on Gov. Yahaya Bello to remain resolute and continue to build bridges of understanding among the people of Kogi State.
According to him, “Gov. Bello is a man with people’s interest and concern at heart, and that is why despite the harsh economic reality in the state and the dwindling revenue to the state, the governor has continued payment of salaries in the state.
He said their full plan for their support and push for Ododo’s 2023 candidature will be revealed very soon as they are still making wide consultations across Okunland.
