“Overwhelming support” indicates a large majority of people agree with or endorse somebody. It suggests a strong level of agreement or backing for a cause, idea, or person.
This phrase implies that the support is not just high, but rather exceptionally strong and having a widespread.
This is exactly what was displayed recently at the homecoming of Mrs Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s entry into her country home, at Okene, Kogi central Senatorial District.
The massive support witnessesed during the rally held at the residence of the iron lady was too high and overwhelming, the support
is not just present, but it is felt with a strong degree of conviction and enthusiasm.
Nigerian Trend online newspaper reliably gathered that some few Political stalwarts are also behind the successful mobilisation of the crowd because of there acceptance at the grassroots in Kogi central Senatorial District.
These political heavyweight are; The former member of House of Representative, Adavi federal constituency, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Badamasiuy(Badams) and former Chairman of Okene local Government Area, Alhaji Yahaya Karaku was incharge of grassroots mobilisation.
The forces of these two political juggernauts matched with the general acceptability of Senator Natasha made it difficult for any anybody or group to cause any political crack.

The recent visit of Natasha to his country home through plane demonstrated overwhelming support for his person at the grassroots levels, it is a practical overwhelming support for the idea of true democracy in Nigeria.
This should be a big lesson to all elected leaders in Nigeria, especially those Politicians who think they could win elections through the backdoors, because Natasha has laid a good example for a real idea of been truely accepted in a democracy setting by the people at the grassroots.
