Gov. Ododo Embarks On Thank-You Tour To Ganaja Community

The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has paid a Thank You visit to the people of Ganaja community in Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

The Accountant General of Kogi state, Hajiya Habitat Tijjani Onumoko who represented the governor, expressed gratitude to the people of the area for their unwavering support for the current administration.

The colourful occasion was held at the premises of the central mosque, along Ganaja Riverside on Saturday.

The Governor thanked them for the overwhelming support given to him and the party in the state, especially during the last election by the residents of Ganaja, saying his administration is committed to sustainability of the legacy projects of the former Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello”,

The Governor also noted that his administration has made significant progress in health, infrastructure, education, and security, saying he has started delivering on his campaign promises”

“We haves started delivering the dividends of Democracy to every nooks and crannies of the state, and we shall ensure that we will continue to extend our developmental structures to Ganaja community”.

The Governor further explained that he was in the community to thank the people for their continued support and prayers for his administration.

The visit to Ganaja is part the ongoing engagements across local government areas in Kogi State.

The representative of the Governor, Hajiya Habibat was in the company of the current House of Representative Member from Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Alhaji Abdulraheem Egidi Sanni, Special Adviser to the Governor and leader in Ganaja community, Prince Haruna Ganaja, Former Rep member, Hon. Lawal, Special Adviser on media to the governor, Hon. Ismaila Isa and commissioner of works, Hon. Samson Bako.

Others personalitiess present ares; traditional rulers, community leaders, and serving and former political appointees from the area.

After the event, the government officiials paid visit to the palace of Agaku of Ganja to pay homage. Several Ankara clothes in bales were distributed to women by the representative of the Governor, Hajiya Habitat Tijjani Onumoko at the venue of the programme.
