Gov. Ododo Presents APC Flags To Bassa Chairmanhip Candidate, Hon. Theophilus Adama, Other Chairmanhip Candidates In Kogi

The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has presented the flags of All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Chairmanhip Candidates in preparation for the forthcoming local government election in the state.
Among the Candidate, Is Hon. Theophilus Adama from Bassa local government area, whose presence at the Muhammodu Buhari Square attracted thousands of supporters from Bassaland and Lokoja localbgovernment areas.
The flag-off held on Thursday, 19 September at the popular Muhammadu Buhari Square, MBS, in Lokoja, the state capital.
Gov. Ododo urged APC candidates and stakeholders to work for the total victory of the party in the election so that the electorate can continue enjoying the party’s manifestos.
The governor, who was joined by leaders of the party from the three senatorial districts of the state, used the occasion to present the scorecard of the APC-led administration in the state.
He noted that his administration has successfully implemented the 40 percent affirmative action for women in elective positions in the state with the party’s decision to reserve all vice chairmanship positions and at least four out of every councillorship positions in each of the 21 local government areas in the state for women, adding that appointments of Ward Special Assistants and Local Government Special Assistants has truly returned governance back to the people at the grassroots.
While speaking to some of the Indigenes of Bassa resident in Lokoja, a trader, Mallam Inusa told Nigerian Trend Online newspaper that all Bassa people in Lokoja would relocate back home to vote Hon. Theophilus Adama during Chairmanhip election.
Another Indigene reliably told us that Mr. Theophilus Adama is a very humble, Simple and caring, calling on the electorate to give him maximum support.
