Gov. Ododo’s SSA, Hon. Gentle Visits Specialist Hospital, Donates Cash To Over 500 Patients

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Youth Mobilization Lokoja / Kogi federal Constituency, and Consultant on forestry, Hon. Abdulrahman Hussain, aka ‘Gentle’ has commended Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo for the pivotal roles been played by his administration in the areas of health and Youths empowerment since he assumed office.
Abdulrahman gave the commendation when he visited Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja on Saturday where he distributed cash to about 500 patients in the paediatric, emergency and maternity, wards.
He noted that they were at the hospital to reach out to the mothers and patients at the facility stressing that the gesture was to sympathised with them and compliments Governor Ododo’s health initiative programs.
“Our visit here today is to extend my little support to our women, nursing mothers and children in this hospital. I urge you to continue to support and pray for His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed and also urged them to continue to support our his administration ”, he said.
He further stated that the Ododo-led government has initiated various health programmes to provide quality healthcare for the populace including women and children across the state.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke during the SSA’s visit to the hospital appreciated him for the timely cash gift to pay their bills.
Addressing journalists after the visit,a chieftain of APC and the party state youth leader, Mallam Buharin Lakwaja described Gentle as pacesetter and philanthropist.
Hon. Abdulrahman was accompanied by other political apointees, teeming youths, physically challenged persons and women from Lokoja local Government Area.
The second phase of the youth empowerment will continue tomorrow 29th June, 2025 at kabawa open field by 10am
