Governor Yahaya Bello Presents Jeeps, Hilux Vans For Assembly Members, Judges, Head of Institutions
- Also Give 3 Fire Fighter Vans To Fire Service, Ambulances To Health centres in 21 LGA

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has presented modern series of jeeps to lawmakers, head of Institutions and urged them to defend the interest of the State fearlessly.
The Governor also presented Jeeps to High Court judges, as part of efforts to enhance the welfare of judicial officers in the state.
He reiterated his continuous support to the judiciary, urging them to remain the best as he would push for more judges to ease their movement and job.
The Governor did not only dole out vehicles to lawmakers and judges, he went further to present fire fighter vans to kogi state ministry of works, and distributes Ambulances to all the 21 local government areas in the state.
Gov. Bello gave the charge at the presentation of Jeeps to members of the kogi state House of Assembly at Muhammadu Buhari civic centre, Lokoja.
The Governor said the gesture would ease their movement and enable them to discharge their duties effectively.
Responding on behalf of the lawmakers, the Speaker of the kogi state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Yussuf Umar expressed gratitude to the Governor for the gift.
He noted that despite the economic challenges posed by the state mearge finances, the Governor still saved funds to provide them vehicles.
He further commended the Governor’s benevolence saying he has been consistent in encouraging the state legislators to continue to always protect the interest of kogi people.
Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar assured the governor of their continued support, prayed for greater triumph and successes especially as his tenure was about to end.
He noted that they would reciprocate the gesture by representing the general interest of the entire people of kogi state well, confirming that there is healthy synergy between the lawmakers and the state government in kogi state.
He said the synergy is made possible because Gov. Yahaya Bello has remained a leader who unifies all segments of leaders.
On his part, the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Josiah Mejebi thanked the state government for the gesture, saying that it was first of its kind, “It is an honour done to the judiciary, where we are considered and recognized by the state government”.
