Governor Yahaya Bello Presents Staff Of Office To Ohimege-Igu Of Koton-Karfe

Gov. Yahaya Bello of kogi state has presented staff of office to the new Ohimege-Igu of Koton-Karfe, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu.
The new monarch, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu received his staff in His Palace at Koton-karfe amidst mammoth crowd.
Governor Yahaya Bello while presenting the staff of office to His Royal Majesty, Saidu Akawu Salihu, advised the monarch to use his office to protect his subjects in Igu Kingdom.
In his remarks, His Royal Majesty thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for standing by the truth and making way for justice in Igu Kingdom.
He also thanked kogi state government for the boldness in correcting the monumental wrong in Igu kingdom, saying that God has used Gov. Bello to save the cherished traditional institution from public ridicule.
The former Ohimege of Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Abdulrazak Isa-Koto was been been dethroned and deposed by the present administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
HRM, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu is the Chairman of Lokoja/Kogi/Koton-Karfe Traditional Council.
