Hon. AbdulRafiu Yakubu Commends Gov. Ahmed Ododo For Prompt Payment Of 100 percent Salaries Of LG Workers, Teachers, Pensioners

A political Grassroots Mobiliser and reknown philanthropist, Hon. AbdulRafiu Yakubu from Oworo ward, Lokoja Local government area, Kogi State has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for prompt payment of state civil servants, Pensioners and 100 percent salaries for local govt. workers in the state.
He also applauded Governor AbdulRazaq for being sensitive to the welfare of workers, particularly the early payment of workers before month ends.
Hon. AbdulRafiu Yakubu stated this in a statement made available to Nigerian Trend Online newspaper in Lokoja.
He explained that the report at his disposal indicates that since assumption of the people’s Governor in January, salaries of workers in the state have always been paid before month end, including local government staff and teachers.
He however commended the state government for keeping faith with the state workforce, which has contributed in the stability in the system.
Hon. AbdulRafiu Yakubu once again Congratulated the governor on this year Independence anniversary, assuring the governor of the continuous support and commitment of the people of Lokoja-Kogi local government areas towards success of this present administration.
