Kogi Assembly Speaker Attends 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day/Wreath Laying in Lokoja

The speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has attended the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day and Wreath Laying in Lokoja in honour of the nation’s heroes who laid their lives for the peace of the country.
Reacting to the occasion in a press statement signed and made available to the media by the Chief Press Secretary to the speaker, Yabagi Mohammed, Rt Honourable Umar expressed gratitude of the entire nation to the sacrifices of those who served in the wars that culminated in the peace being enjoyed in the country today.
He noted that Kogi State played significant roles in the various wars that birth the day, including the World Wars, adding that government at all levels remain indebted to the security agencies.
The speaker used the occasion to thank the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his continued synergy with the security agencies to ensure adequate security for the entire state.
He restated the commitment of his office to work in partnership with the executive to ensure adequate synergy with the security agencies to bring about stronger security for all parts of the state.
