Kogi Assembly Speaker Attends Coronation of New Ohinoyi of EbiraLand

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Aliyu Umar Yusuf is attending the coronation ceremony for the new Ohinoyi of Ebira Land, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ahmad Tijani Muhammed Anaje.
In a statement issued by the Press secretary to the Speaker, Mohammed Yabagi stated that the ceremony took place at the ultramodern Ohinoyi’s Palace in Okene, the heart of Ebiraland with Governor Yahaya Bello, the Governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Deputy Governor-elect, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu and other government functionaries in attendance.
In his message at the event, the speaker prayed to Allah to grant the new Ohinoyi the wisdom to attract peaceful coexistence, security of lives and property to every part of the land and development to Kogi State as a whole.
He described the new Ohinoyi as an urbane, tolerant and progressive traditional ruler capable of improving the institution for the better.
