Kogi Assembly Speaker Attends Hajiya Hassana Fatima’s Fida’u Prayer in Lokoja

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has attended the Fidau Prayer for the repose of the soul of the step-mother to the member representing Lokoja I State Constituency in the Assembly, Hon Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani, in Lokoja.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Yabagi Mohammed stated that the Fidau Prayer took place on Thursday at the family residence in Karaworo, Lokoja.
The prayer was also attended by prominent sns and daughters of Lokoja, including the former speaker of the Assembly, Rt Hon Umar Ahmed Imam, the chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Abdullahi Adamu and other dignitaries.
The Speaker, who prayed for eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus for the deceased, further offered supplication for the family to be able to bear the loss.
