Kogi Assembly Speaker Mourns Death of Ag Mayaki of Kupa Land

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has comiserated with the people of Kupa Land, Lokoja Local Government and the state over the unfortunate demise of the Acting Mayaki of Kupa and Chief Imam of Abugi-Kupa, Sheikh Alhaji Usman Umar.
The deceased whose death occurred late Monday 24th July 2023, was the Shaba of Kupa.
The speaker described the death as shocking, and prayed Allah to grant the dead eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus, and the family, fortitude to bear the loss.
He said the state traditional and religious council would miss his wise counsel, and called on Muslim Ummah to remember the late Shaba in their supplications.
