Kogi ex-APC deputy gov, Elder Simon Achuba officially joins SDP

A former Deputy Governor of Kogi State in the first tenure of Gov. Yahaya Bello, Elder Simon Achuba has officially joined the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in preparation for the November 11 governorship election in the state.

In a statement issued by the Director of Communications of Murtala Ajaka Campaign Organization,stated that at a press conference held on Sunday, Achuba said he has joined SDP to ensure the victory of Murtala Yakubu Ajaka at the forthcoming governorship election.

Achuba expressed his admiration for the governorship candidate of SDP, saying that he applauded his leadership acumen,and his general acceptability by the majority of the people of Kogi state.

He said, “I served as the Deputy Governor of Kogi State. I knew Murtala Ajaka very well,he is a very generous and kind person. His humility is unmatched, and his ability to unite the people is remarkable.

“These qualities are some of the reasons I decided to join the SDP and offer my support to him”.

Achuba further said he did not only join SDP, other dignitaries also declare their support for SDP and Murtala Ajaka, they are ; Elder Obolo,  Attadoga  and others leaders also declare full supports for Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka.
