Kogi Guber: Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, candidate to beat – Group

Kogi West Progressives Youth have once again reiterated its unflinching support to the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the November election in kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The group made this statement at the heels of many conflicting news about political happenings in the state.

The Coordinator of the group, Tijanni Yunusa who spoke to Nigerian Trend said the group’s support for Ahmed Usman Ododo is based on his antecedents, mostly his good character and Humane background.

He said, “Out of many candidates jostling to rule kogi State, the only credible candidate the group is supporting is Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo”.

“Ododo has shown an unequivocal matchless credentials; from his role in providing good leadership in Governor Bello’s administration, and his consistency in quest to serve his people selflessly’.

“He has also shown resilience and persistence in ensuring that youths and women are fully engaged in term of empowerment and employment opportunities.

According to him, “ We however appeal to all traders, businessmen including professionals to support and rally round Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo saying , no candidate in kogi State vying for the governorship position had ever thought of visiting Kogi stakeholders in respective of political parties, ethnicity or religion affilliations, Ododo paid visit to PDP and APC stakeholders, “he stressed.

We urged Kogi people both at home and outside to see the next election as a means to consolidate the achievements of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration, while calling on all Kogi people to vote  for continuation of APC administration in the state.

“The only candidate that will continue Gov. Bello’s legacies, good governance and people oriented agenda is Ahmed Ododo”.

. His passion to salvage the state  is his driving force, meant to put the state on a fast pedestal of development. He has the full support of the youth in Kogi state,” he added.
