Kogi Guber Election : Ebigo Connect Group unveils APC Governorship Candidate, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo

oyalists of kogi State governor, Yahaya Adoza Bello, Ododo Ebigo Connect group have unveiled their governorship candidate under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governorship candidate, Ododo was unveiled at a press conference held by the notable group at the NUJ press Centre, Lokoja on Friday.
The Director General of the group, AbdulGaniyu Okaraga Jimoh said Ododo Ebigo Connect has unanimously come together to unveiled Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as their official governorship candidate, noted that the slogan of the group is “new system, new Direction, new Hope”.
He further said the group comprises spirited individuals from the nooks and crannies of kogi coming together to sell the gospel of the leader and governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
Jimoh revealed that the aims and objectives of the group is to play significant and most needed role in replenishing the mindsets of kogi indigenes by given them the indepth knowledge about the man, Usman Ahmed Ododo and reasons why he has to be voted as the next Governor of kogi state.
According to the Director-General, ” I appreciate in no small measure the great and indefatigable members of our party who displayed their doggedness and utter resolutesness to ensure that their will in this election reigned Supreme. All thanks to the leadership and every card-carrying members of the for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the primary election that produced Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the candidate of the ruling party”.
Jimoh further explained that the Ododo Ebigo connect group symbolizes “Ebira-Igala-Okun Connect”,saying that the analysis means entrenching mutual peace and progress amongst the three senatorial districts of the state”.
“As we unveil the candidate of our party today, we want to give full assurance to the candidate, the leadership of our party and every other members of genuine course to close the gap of tribal and religious sentiment and preach for a united and prosperous kogi state. Calling for all and sundry for this Progressive drive of all inclusivity and consolidation of the numerous achievements recorded by Gov. Yahaya Bello led administration “.
The DG however thanked the Executive Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the state Executive members of the party and Delegates for finding Ododo worthy and giving such confidence in him to fly the governorship ticket of APC in kogi state.
It would be recalled that Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo won the governorship primary election recently. He was the immediate past Auditor General of kogi state under the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
