The Kogi State Ministry Of Housing and urban development is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Obadaki Zainab (ESV) as its new and inaugural Permanent Secretary. Dr. Obadaki assumes the role of the chief Administrative Officer of the Ministry, bringing with her a wealth of experience in public service.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Zainab Obadaki served as Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, where she played a pivotal role in achieving significant milestones.
During the welcoming ceremony held on September 30, 2024, the Commissioner, Hon. Abanika Taiye, expressed his excitement about Dr. Obadaki’s appointment as Permanent Secretary. On behalf of the management and staff of the Ministry, he extended a warm welcome to her and provided an overview of the Ministry’s accomplishments and ongoing projects.
The Directors of the Ministry also welcomed Dr. Zainab Obadaki and pledged to collaborate closely with her to enhance the Ministry’s operations and contribute to the overall development of the state.
In her response, the Permanent Secretary expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the pioneer Permanent Secretary of the Kogi State Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. She acknowledged the efforts of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Head of Service Mr. Elijah Evinemi, and the Commissioner, emphasizing their dedication to the Ministry’s success.
