KOGI NYCN PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO KOGI NUJ CHAIRMAN, CALL FOR PARTNERSHIP WITH MEDIA

In a bid to continue to ensure that the Youth are properly positioned for leadership and to bring the dividends of good governance at all levels of Youth engagements, the new leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria Kogi State Chapter led by the State Chairman has paid a scheduled visit / courtesy call on the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists , Comrade Sheidu Ademu in his office.
Speaking during his opening remarks, the State Chairman of NYCN, alluded to the fact that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and harmony. He noted that it was necessary for the Council to work in harmony with the media practitioners in the state so as to bring about the needed development.
The NYCN chairman.appreciated the youths who brought him on board, promised to give the Youth a place of pride. He therefore solicited for the support of all journalists and promised to be supportive to any activities of the union.
While responding, the newly elected chairman of NUJ, Comrade Sheidu Ademu who was visibly elated for the visit, appreciated and welcomed the new leadership of the Youth. He noted that the Youth should come together to bring unity among themselves so as to show leadership capacity.
Comrade Ademu further called on the Youth leadership to spread the campaign of peace and to shun all social vices. He further called on other youths who are aggrieved to embrace the new Leadership, while urging for a hand of fellowship to be extended to others.
