Kogi People Lauds Gov Yahaya Bello As He Bags CON award

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, is among the recipients of the Commander of the Order of the Nigeria, CON, at the investiture of distinguished personalities by President Muhammadu Buhari who received various national awards.
The 2023 National Honours Award investiture was held in Abuja recently. .
The conferment of the award to Governor Yahaya Bello was in recognition of his selfless service to Nigeria particularly the significant role he played in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari during his first and second tenure.
Governor Yahaya Bello has in his capacity as the Chief executive of Kogi State, Reknown member of Progressive Governors’ Forum, Chairman Youth mobilization committee and his significant role played during covid 19, the effective role he played in the development of Kogi State and several other achievements gave him the advantage.
The people of Kogi State are proud of his contribution as the president bestowed on him such prestigious honour because of his contributions to the development of the State and the country at various levels.
The people of Kogi State have also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for honouring Gov. Yahaya Bello with national awards saying he deserved the award.
Buhari conferred Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CON) on Gov. Bello, for his contribution towards the progress and development of Kogi State.
According to a statement issued yesterday in Lokoja by the Kogi Elders led by Mallam Musa Yakubu, Gov. Bello was recognised by President Buhari for his invaluable contribution in kogi state and the country.
He said Gov. Bello is a celebrated civilian Governor, whose exemplary conducts and commitment towards the development of Kogi State and the nation.
He lauded Gov. Bello who is also the youngest Nigerian recipient of the Commander of the Niger (CON), stressing that the laudable achievements of the Governor justifies the honour given to him.
