Kogi pilgrims arrives muzdhalipher in continuation of their religious obligations in the holy land

Pilgrims from Kogi State on Saturday evening arrived muzdhalipher in continuation of their religious obligations in the holy land of Saudi Arabia.
They observed their magrib and Isha prayers as prescribed by the Islamic injunction.
Luqman Imam Abdullahi (Abdul yatama) Executive Chairman, Kogi State Hajj Commission in his admonition to the pilgrims, stressed that an accepted Hajj, free the pilgrim from sin as he was born from her mother’s womb.
Muzdalifah, therefore, is so called because while arriving from ‘Arafah to Muzdalifah, pilgrims get nearer to Mina and to the point of completing Hajj.
The name also implies that Muzdalifah is another sacred location where pilgrims worship God and so, get closer to Him and His pleasure.
After arriving at Muzdalifah, pilgrims pray the Maghrib and ʿIshāʾ prayers jointly, whereas the Isha prayer is shortened to 2 rakats.
At Muzdalifah, pilgrims collect pebbles for the Stoning of the Devil Ramī al-Jamarāt.
