Kogi State Govt. Appoints Mr. Itopa YJ As MD/CEO Graphics Newspaper

Kogi state Government has appointed Mr. Itopa YJ as the new Managing Director/CEO of Kogi State Publishing and Printing Company, the Graphics Newspaper.
The appointment is following the approval of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo. During the official presentation, the Head of Service, Mr. Elijah Evidemi, urged Mr. Itopa to justify his appointment by repositioning the State owned newspaper.
The Head of service described the media as very cardinal to reporting Government programs and policies, said the place of Graphics Newspaper cannot be overemphasized, urged the new appointee to hit the ground running.
He urged him to perform beyond expectations, that will be pleasing to the present administration, urged him to turn the Graphics Newspaper around.
In a remarks, the immediate past Kogi NUJ Chairman, Comr. Adeiza Momohjimoh, assured that Mr. Itopa will justify his appointment, solicited support for the Graphics Newspaper.
He therefore called on the State Government to support the Graphics Newspaper to enable it meet the objectives of information desimination at the grassroots.
In his response, the new Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Itopa Jimoh promised not to let down the administration, promised to justify his appointment.
He described his appointment as a home coming, having worked with the Graphics for about 12 years, thanked the management and staff of the Graphics for staying the course amidst daunting challenges of operations.
