Kogi State Govt. Set To Commence distribution Of Palliatives On 21st, Sept.2023 At Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre, Lokoja

Kogi state Government has said on Wednesday that it has initiated plans to distribute trucks palliatives to various people in all the local government areas in the state.

The Hon.commissioner for Communication and strategy, Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo said the Government wishes to inform the general public that it will share palliatives to citizens to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal.

It further stated that the state government wishes to profoundly appreciate the Federal Government under the leadership of our dear President, HE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who deemed it fit to ameliorate the temporary hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy. The State Government has also added its own share to achieve the humanitarian aim of Mr President,it stressed.

” We urge leaders across the board to ensure that all Kogites are carried along in the distribution of the palliatives. This is sacrosanct”.

The statement also said the distribution shall take place on Thursday 21st September, 2023 at the ultra modern Muhammadu Buhari Square by 10am.

According to the statement” It is instructive to note that the palliatives are for all Kogites, irrespective of political, ethnic or religious affiliations in line with the intent of the Federal Government and the policy direction of the Kogi State Government under the administration of Alh. Yahaya Bello who is Governor of all”.
