Kogi State Media Centre,Lugard TV, A State-Of-the-Art Centre – Information Commissioner

The Honourable Commissioner for Information and communications, Evangelist Kingsley Femi Fanwo has commended the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Ismaila Isah for his initiatives for setting up a state-of-the-art media data centre which includes the new Lugard Television Online station.
The commissioner who on Tuesday paid an official visit to the media centre and granted interview at the media studio in Government House, Lokoja, stated that the media data centre housed a comprehensive media/Information centre, where information about the daily activities of Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo and other government programmes will always be desseminated.
Emphasising the importance of embracing technology and innovation, the commissioner further stressed that modern challenges require innovations and improvements in technological solutions.
He added that integrating advanced technology would enhance efficiency information management Across the state operations adding that providing a state of the Art equipments is to bring technology advancement to Kogi state through the introduction of a standard media information/data centre and Establishment of Lugard Television.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Ismaila Isah expressed his gratitude to the commissioner and his delegation for the visit to the media centre, however sought the cooperation of the commissioner saying the media centre is widely open for the Ministry’s use interms of accessing media information.
