Koton-Karfe Community Leaders Applaud Sen. Sunday Karimi For Providing Billions Of Naira Laboratory, Classrooms and Administrative Block Projects In GSSS

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, has facilitated multi billion Naira educational Structures in Government Science Secondary school, Koton-Karfe, Kogi state.
Nigerian Trend online newspaper and other crew of journalists visited the construction site at GSSS, Koton-Karfe on Monday, the site Engineer Musbau Mukaila said Sen. Karimi’s gesture intended to improve the quality of education in Kogi local Government Area and his other constituency in Kogi West.
According to Engineer Mukaila, the initiative of Sen. Karimi, was part of efforts to encourage indigent pupils and students in their academic pursuit amid the prevailing economic challenges.
He also disclosed that the three structures, Laboratory building, Adminstrative block and additional classroom blocks are nearly completion saying that the remaining works are only interior.
The principal of GSSS, Koton-Karfe, Inusa Daudawho was represented by the school Examination Officer, Mr. David Konto commended the facilitators of the four educational projects to GSSS, Koton-Karfe, adding that what Sen. Karimi attracted to Kogi local Government Area was to strengthen education and aid effective teaching by stimulating the students’ interest in learning.
He said: “Education is the bedrock of the development of any society, there is nothing you can achieve without being educated, so this laboratory, Administrative and additional classrooms would boost the education in Kogi local Government”, he stressed.
Commending the Senator for the gesture, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Saidu Akawu, who is an almer mater of GSSS, Koton-karfe, said the initiative will go a long way to provide more educational facilities to students, said it’s a commitment to the educational development of our youths in the Koton-Karfe and entire Kogi West Senatorial District.
“These structures provided by Sen. Sunday Karimi are designed to enhance our students learning, and foster a conducive environment for academic excellence, saying that the senator has shown his committment to bringing dividends of democracy to his constituents”,
Accordding to him, “Senator Karimi has not only demonstrated his commitment to education but has also set a precedent for future investments in the academic sector. This is what true leadership looks like, providing opportunities for our students to thrive”.
