‎KPSF Stakeholders Meet to Foster Unity, Endorse President Tinubu As Sole Candidate Of APC

‎In a bid to strengthen peace and promote unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, the Kogi APC Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF), has held an expanded stakeholders engagement meeting in Kogi  state, where they endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as sole candidate for re-election in 2027.

‎The meeting is also to ensure democratic representation, foster collaboration, drive strategic initiatives, guarantee transparent and inclusive decision-making.

‎The Stakeholders engagement meeting were drawn from 21 lgas in Kogi state which witnessed the Inaugural meeting & Official Endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu For second term in office

‎ The meeting was held in Lokoja, on Wednesday with the aim of strengthening party unity and promoting democratic representation, focusing on getting more people involved, working together, and making sure decisions are made in a fair and open way.

‎The chairman of the forum, the former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Idris Ichalla Wada appealed to members to massively mobilize and support President Ahmed Tinubu in the coming presidential Election in the state.

‎He said KPSF stakeholders are fully ready to work for the actualization of Tinubu’s second term bid, assuring the President of the commitment of all the leaders and members of KPSF to work hard to ensure that he emerged as presidential candidate of the party and also mobilize for his victory at the presidential general election.

‎“We are meeting today to draw up new strategies aimed at ensuring massive victory for our party in the coming presidential election”.

‎Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi emphasized on unity and resolving issues within the party to ensure a strong showing in 2027. According to him, “we,leaders are stressing the importance of working together and getting everyone on board with the party’s agenda, calling for peace and cooperation, and urging everyone to get involved in the party’s processes.

‎The endorsement of president Ahmed Tinubu was officially conducted by the former Governor, Alhaji Idris Wada while Senator Sunday Karimi moved the motion, highlighting President Tinubu’s achievements, especially efforts in tackling Nigeria’s economic challenges, and Dr. Kashim Akor seconded it, Ex-Gov. Idris Ichalla Wada declared the president the sole APC candidate in the coming presidential election.

‎The Vice Chairman of the forum, Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali noted that the engagement meeting was a significant step towards achieving success in the 2027 elections, with stakeholders pledging to mobilize grassroots support and work closely with the Governor, KPSF’s efforts are seen as a catalyst for this momentum.

‎He further stressed that the KPSF is trying to get everyone on the same page and work together for the party’s success, we’re focusing on getting more people involved, working together, and making sure decisions are made in a fair and open way.

‎One of the stakeholders from Kogi Western senatorial district, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Salaudeen aka Erukutu stated that the Governor is expected to work closely with the forum to implement key initiatives, especially on how to forster unity among party members before the presidential election.

‎”We therefore commended our leaders who sincerely made this meeting to be successful, “with the support of influential leaders like Alhaji Suleman Baba Ali, Senator Sunday Karimi, and former Governor Idris Ichalla Wada, they’re poised to drive party unity and growth”.

‎” Their efforts are definitely paying off, and it’s clear the forum is moving in the right direction. With this unity, they’re likely to achieve significant success in 2027″.

‎The aftermath of the meeting sees increased enthusiasm among party members, with many expressing confidence in the KPSF’s leadership and vision.

‎The meeting concludes with a renewed sense of commitment to party unity and progress. Stakeholders pledge to mobilize grassroots support, promote democratic principles, and work closely with Kogi state Government to achieve results.

‎As the event comes to a close, attendees are optimistic about the party’s future, and the KPSF’s efforts are seen as a significant step towards achieving success in the 2027 elections.
