Large Crowd Attends Special Fidau Prayer For Late Abdullahi Danjuma Bature

The family of late Abdullahi Bature, Lokoja traditional council and prominent Indigenes of Lokoja community were at the fidau prayer of Mallam Bature in Lokoja on Tuesday

A mammoth crowd of sympathisers and well wishers had since a week now besieged the residence of Late Bature to pay condolences to the family.

Mallam Bature died last Tuesday and was buried the same day at Lokoja Muslim burial ground at ungwar-Kura, Lokoja.

Human and vehicular movement from the popular Baptist Road and cemetery road leading to Late Bature’s residence was an Herculean task as Lokoja indigenes crowded the places.
The special prayer was led by Chief Imam, Sheikh Aminu Shaban, Central Mosque, Lokoja, he spoke glowingly about the late Abdullahi Danjuma Bature’s immense contribution to islam and Lokoja community.
Among eminent personalities on ground to join and support the children and family of the deceased at the prayer session, were His Excellently, Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali, RT Hon. Speaker, Umar Aliyu Yusuf, Member, of House of Representative, Suleiman Danladi Aguye, Chairman, Lokoja local Government Area, Abdullahi Adamu, Member, House of Assembly, Lokoja one, Tijani Ebaiya, a businessman and philanthropist, Zakari Ola Abubakar and his brother, Bukky Mohamed Abubakar, among others.
The Chief Imam admonished parents to bequeath love, good moral and religious teachings to their children for them to benefit remembrance prayers from such responsible children.
He said that late Bature lived an exemplary life, urging others to emulate.him, according to him, “we should, therefore, change our ways to love one another. Let’s forgive ourselves and accept Alla’s ways,” he admonished.
