The consultant of Lokoja International Market, Comrade Adams J Babangida has congratulated the Executive Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his Economic mission to China, saying he
is committed To brinng about the economic growth and development of kogi State
Comrade J Babangida noted that Gov. Ododo is committed to expanding the economy through solid minerals and tourism which remained a key cornerstone in his administration’s economic strategy.
Speaking to Nigerian Trend online newspaper in Lokoja on Saturday said he welcome the governor back to kogi state noting that his mission was a significant achievement.
According to him, the governor’s recent moves has proofed that his administration’s decision to focus on solid minerals and mining had begun in earnest.
“This recent action of Gov. Ododo will accelerated development because all the untapped mineral resources in kogi state would be put to use and the state will grow economically”,
“This will also bring about other means of development in education, health, security and expansion of our economy through infrastructure development and agribusiness.
Comrade J Babangida stated that it is a road map for sustainable development, tourism and solid minerals development as part of the channels through which will expand the state’s economy.
“So, Governor Ododo’s economic mission to china is a testament that kogi state will achieve the vision of tapping our abundant mineral resources,” he stated.
While congratulating Governor Ododo on his numerous achievements since assumption of office, he also thanked him for his initiative of building a modern International market in Lokoja.
“We appreciate the governor’ efforts in creating the enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state”
He therefore called on the people of kogi state to continue to give their maximum support to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
